Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Vertex Design Works, operated by Vodden Ventures Ltd. in Manitoba, Canada (“Vertex,” “we,” “us” or “our”), collects, uses, stores and protects information when you use our websites, mobile applications and related services, including Vertex Golf, Vertex Darts and Vertex Retail.

1. Information we collect

Depending on the product and features you use, we may collect:

• Account information such as your name, email address and profile details.
• App content such as scores, rounds, match history, course selections, preferences and support messages.
• Location information when a feature such as golf GPS requires it and only after you grant permission.
• Camera images or video when camera-assisted features are enabled. Where possible, this information is processed on your device.
• Device and diagnostic information such as app version, device type, crash reports and performance data.
• Purchase and subscription status. Payment-card information is processed by Apple, Google or another payment provider and is not stored by Vertex.

2. How we use information

We use information to provide app features, save progress, calculate results and yardages, improve reliability, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, process subscriptions and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.

3. Permissions

Our apps request only permissions needed for the feature you choose. You may withdraw camera, location, notification or other permissions through your device settings. Some features may not work without the relevant permission.

4. Sharing and service providers

We may share limited information with trusted providers that help operate hosting, authentication, analytics, crash reporting, payments and support. They may use it only to provide services to us. We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect safety or rights, or as part of a business transfer.

5. Storage and security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encrypted network connections where appropriate. No system can guarantee absolute security. Information may be processed in Canada, the United States or other countries where our providers operate.

6. Retention

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, meet legal requirements, resolve disputes and enforce agreements. De-identified information may be retained for product improvement.

7. Your choices and rights

You may request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information. You can delete an eligible account using our account-deletion instructions. We may retain limited information where legally required.

8. Children

Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate parental consent. Contact us if you believe a child provided information improperly.

9. Changes

We may update this policy as our products change. The current version and effective date will remain posted here. Material changes may also be communicated within the affected app.
