The rules of use

Terms of Service

Effective August 16, 2026

These Terms govern services provided by Vertex Design Works, operated by Vodden Ventures Ltd. By using a Vertex website or application, you agree to these Terms.

1. Using our services

You must use our services lawfully and provide accurate information. You are responsible for your account and activity. You may not interfere with the services, attempt unauthorized access, upload harmful material or violate another person's rights.

2. Location, scoring and estimates

GPS yardages, camera-assisted dart detection, scores, recommendations and other results may contain errors. Verify important information yourself. Vertex Golf is not a navigation or emergency-safety service. Never use an app in a way that distracts you or creates danger.

3. Subscriptions and purchases

Prices and subscription terms are shown before purchase. Purchases through Apple or Google are billed and managed by that store and subject to its payment and refund rules. Subscriptions renew unless cancelled through your store account before renewal.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant us a limited licence to host, process and display it only as needed to provide and improve the services.

5. Our property

The Vertex name, product names, software and designs belong to Vertex or its licensors. You receive a limited, personal, revocable and non-transferable right to use the services.

6. Availability

We may update, change, suspend or discontinue features. We work to keep services reliable but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Development features may change and may be less reliable.

7. Disclaimer and liability

To the extent permitted by law, services are provided “as is” and “as available.” Vertex is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses. Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the service during the previous twelve months. Nothing here limits rights that cannot legally be limited.

8. Ending access

You may stop using the services at any time. We may restrict access for serious violations, security risks or legal requirements.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Manitoba and applicable federal laws of Canada. Disputes will be handled by courts with jurisdiction in Manitoba unless consumer law requires otherwise.
